As the year winds down, it’s time for this year’s installment of “Best of”. Here are some of my favorite images from 2011, I have drastically narrowed these down, I have LOTS of favorites And because it IS so close to Christmas, how about a little giveaway…

Meet Miss Hannah! She was 2 weeks old at our session, and slept nearly the entire time, I think I only saw her eyes for the last 20 minutes of the session. Big brother Eli sat down for a couple of pictures, but as you can imagine at nearly 2 years old it was brief

Meet miss Eden, a ripe 7 days old! She was a tiny little peanut weighing 6 lbs. 9 oz when she was born, and she was a dream to photograph!!

Newborn Session Special

Did you just have a baby, or are expecting soon?? Now is the time to book your newborn session!!! All newborn sessions booked between now & August 31, 2011 will receive 25 birth announcements FREE…yep, free!!!!!! You’re not due until after August 31 you say? No problem, the session can take place after August 31, as long as it’s booked by August 31. It is recommended newborn sessions be booked prior to delivery anyway!

Now the details…Newborn sessions will be scheduled in studio, & babies must be no older than 2 weeks old(preferably 6-10 days old). Newborns are scheduled on Monday & Wednesday mornings only with only one newborn session per day. So my calendar will book up quickly!! Session fee is due at time of booking.

Miss Anna Grace came to visit today. At 6 weeks old, she is a tad older than my typical newborns, but she was AWESOME!! Being 6 weeks old, she did want to stay awake more often than not, but we worked with it. She is a beautiful little thing with the perfect round little face. And when you see her Momma, you’ll see where she got her looks from, Mom is STUNNING!!!!!

This sweet baby girl traveled all the way from Florence to see me this morning!! I have done pictures of her family before we moved & was so excited that they were willing to come to me here in Decatur as well. She was the PERFECT baby, she slept good, didn’t cry & only pooped once! That’s a good day for us newborn photogs!

This sweet little guy was my very first session in my new studio here in Decatur. I couldn’t have asked for a better first client! He was so sweet. He was pretty awake & alert for a good bit of the session, but we finally got him to sleep & when we did, he was OUT!!

This cutie is only a week old & I’ve already photographed him twice. The first time he was mere seconds old…he is the one who’s birth I photographed last week. He was just a dream for his newborn session…can’t to wait to see him grow!
