A couple of weekends ago we finally had gorgeous weather, so we headed to the park for some fun…and ice cream…and more fun!
Pettskirts & Parasols mini sessions

All little girls LOVE to play dress up and this mini session is just that! Fun pettskirts, parasols, hats, & headbands will be provided at the session. Please dress your daughter in a solid white shirt & preferably a light colored pair of shorts to wear under the skirts. If you have any monogrammed shirts that you would like to use, feel free to bring those as well. The colors in the skirts are the light pink rainbow as shown here, a light pink w/raspberry pink trim, red(for bigger girls 6-8), a hot pink with light pink trim & light pink with white trim.
Very limited availability, so book your session today! Session fee is due at time of booking. Sessions will take place at Coby Hall/UNA campus in Florence.
Operation Love Reunited

Giving back to the community is very important to me, and I’m always looking for ways to do just that. A while back I was introduced to Operation Love Reunited. It is a national non-profit organization made of photographers volunteering their services to families of deployed service members. Participating photographers will be present at the deployment and/or homecoming of the service member to take photographs, capturing those special moments. You will also be given a 4×6 album of images. Participating photographers may also include other gift items or discounts so please contact your local Op Love photographer for details. It’s a nursery contest!
Is your baby between 6-24 months old (ideally sitting!)?
Do you have a super cool nursery?
Would you be interested in winning a free session?
If you answered yes to all three of these questions, please click HERE to use the submission form for the contest. All submissions must be received by midnight, February 21, 2010. You may submit between 1-3 images of your nursery and baby, one image must include the baby in the nursery. Images must be taken by you, or someone in your family (i.e. please do not submit images taken by another professional photographer).
All entries will be judged by a panel of photographers who will narrow down the selection to 3-5 nurseries. The finalists will be posted on my blog and the winner will be chosen via a voting poll. Voting will occur between March 7-March 13. There are specific rules around voting that will be clarified during the voting round of the contest.
Winner will be announced during the week of March 13th. Winning session must take place between March 22 – April 25. Winners must sign a release agreement and must be willing to allow Jennifer Weddington Photography to display images on blog, website, Facebook Business Page and any other print or web materials as deemed appropriate.

This is our contest, we make the rules. We have researched many different ways of voting and there are pros and cons and hanging chads in just about every method out there. This is how we have decided to run our contest, if it’s not a fit for you, we respectfully accept your decision to decline participation. We also know there are ways to work around the system, so we will actively monitor IP addresses and research anything that appears to be fishy. We reserve the right to disqualify any entry that appears to be suspicious.
All participants must agree to sign a model release allowing images to be displayed on participating blogs. Winning participants must sign a release allowing images taken by Jennifer Weddington Photography to be displayed on web site, blog, Facebook and print advertising sources. Participants must also agree to standard Terms and Conditions of Jennifer Weddington Photography.
To enter you must live within 30 minutes of Muscle Shoals, AL. The winner will receive a complimentary session, along with a $50 print credit, from Jennifer Weddington Photography focusing on your nursery, baby and/or family. Regular session terms and conditions apply.
We require an electronically marked consent that you are entering this contest voluntarily and that participating photographer is not promising any winnings or other compensation for participation.

Jennifer Weddington Photography is kicking off the Senior rep program for the Class of 2011!
Senior reps will receive a complimentary senior session, as well as Senior Rep cards, and a 5×7 proof portfolio. There will also be bonus prizes given away based on the amount of friends you refer. These prizes include print credits as well as CASH!

Valentine's Day Mini Sessions

Do something different for Valentines this year! Skip the generic boxed Valentine cards & let your child hand out cute, personalized photo cards. Check out a sampling of the available cards, as well as package information below. There are 2 packages available, both of which include 20 2×3.5 custom photo Valentines. The cards are double sided, and printed on high quality linen paper. Envelopes are included. Friends & family will LOVE getting these personalized cards from your child.
ONE child per session, siblings will be photographed together if requested with the purchase of individual sessions.

First off, 2009 has been an AMAZING year for Jennifer Weddington Photography. I can’t thank my wonderful clients enough…THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!! I have made wonderful new friends, and seen so many families & babies grow.
I’m ending off the year with some freebies…I have selected my favorite images from sessions in 2009. I need YOU to vote on your favorite. You can place your vote by leaving a comment on this blog post telling me the number of your favorite photo. *Under the final image in this post you will see where it says “x comment(s)” click there to leave a comment.
There will be TWO winners for this contest!
1) The client whose image has the most votes will receive a complimentary 11×14 print either of the image from the contest or from an upcoming 2010 session.
2) A comment will be selected at random and the person who submitted the comment will receive a FREE Mini Session!! The winner may either keep the prize for themselves or gift to a friend if you aren’t local to the Shoals area. This mini session will take place in spring of 2010. Giving Is Awesome

You know someone. You know someone who’s experienced a tragedy, is struggling to stay afloat, is raising kids while holding down more than one job, or is volunteering selflessly despite extenuating personal circumstances. You know someone who can’t afford custom photography, but who would cherish it this holiday season. You know someone who deserves a year-round reminder of their family’s spirit, love, and beauty.
You know someone. I guarantee it.
I want to know who they are, and I want to give them the chance to experience complimentary custom photography — $700 worth, to be exact, it’s in your power to give them the artwork they deserve this holiday season.
Oh, and the best part? The person who nominates the winner receives a complimentary session. What better reason to show some love could there possibly be, people?
